THE ROLE Lead the delivery of technology solutions that suppport critical regulatory functions. As Manager, Application Analysis and Design, you will guide a team of senior Analysts, Developers and Technical Support staff within the ICT and Business Intelligence Branch. The role oversees the lifecycle, architecture, functional design and maintenance of key applications that enable the Social Services Regulator to effectively perform its regulatory functions. The role is responsible for ensuring work programs are carried out to time, budget and quality targets and in line with appropriate standards and requirements. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Day-to-day your responsibilities will include: * Provide expert leadership and oversight of the lifecycle, architecture, and functional design of the SSR's software applications, ensuring that application solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic organisational goals. * Partner with SSR business areas to understand complex requirements and ensure they are effectively translated into clear functional and technical requirements, balancing user needs, risk and system capability and ensuring alignment with Victorian Public Sector (VPS) requirements. * Establish and enforce design principles, standards, documentation requirements and governance processes across the application lifecycle, ensuring consistency, quality, maintainability and alignment to enterprise architecture. * Analyse emerging policy, regulatory and programmatic issues for impact to SSR's ICT systems and develop appropriate solutions and roadmaps.
