EL1 Contract Manager | Drive Strategic ICT Contracts
Randstad is seeking a highly experienced and motivated EL1 Contract Manager to join a key program within a prominent Australian Federal Government agency. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in developing and managing multiple complex ICT contracts, ensuring the agency's objectives are met while driving transparency and accountability. You will play a key part in a program focused on uplifting regulatory capability through new processes, systems, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and manage multiple complex contracts and vendor relationships, including with a large-scale ICT vendor.
* Support procurement activities and complex negotiations to maximise value for money.
* Monitor and manage vendor performance against SLAs and contractual obligations.
* Identify and manage contract risks and drive process improvement.
* Develop contract management and procurement documentation in line with public sector frameworks.
* Provide strategic advice and reporting on procurement and contract management to senior executives.
* Ensure compliance with public sector procurement frameworks/policies and maintain high standards of probity.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in managing contracts with software vendors and/or system integrators, preferably within the IT industry and/or the public sector.
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement and contract management frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed procurement decisions.
* Resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement and contract management is desirable.
