Job Description
Our Client GOBIND ROADWAYS PTY LTD is seeking 3 experienced Truck Drivers to join their team located in Casuarina, Western Australia 6167.
Responsibilities
* Drive heavy vehicles to transport goods.
* Load and unload goods using forklifts, cranes, or by hand as required.
* Ensure load is properly secured to prevent any damage during transport.
* Plan delivery routes, follow assigned schedules, and deliver goods safely and on time.
* Inspect trucks before and after trips, checking oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other safety items.
* Keep delivery logs, fuel usage, and maintenance records.
* Follow all road and transport safety regulations, including fatigue management and weight limits.
* Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly to management.
* Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.
Qualifications
Minimum diploma in management and 1 year of experience. Good communication skills, clear driving history, valid Australian heavy vehicle driver's licence (MC), sound knowledge of safe loading and road transport procedures, ability to follow instructions, manage time, and complete delivery paperwork accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of basic truck maintenance and safety checks. Physically fit and able to handle manual work when required. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or regional trips.
