**About the Role**:
Powerlink plays a central role in connecting Queenslanders to a new energy future. As part of this, we are delivering a number of major projects, including renewable energy developments, across Queensland.

Your role will be to provide targeted, best-practice engagement support to land access matters, especially in the development of new projects.
Your expertise and consideration of all stakeholders and landholders will support Powerlink's social licence to operate and reputation, and your ability to influence critical land access issues will help to ensure limited disruptions to our projects and maintenance activities.

What this looks like on a daily basis:

- Developing and maintaining local awareness and knowledge on emerging landholder issues to inform business activities.
- Engaging with landholders to collect land related input for corridor planning, environmental and land related approvals, construction and maintenance processes.
- Contributing to and managing planning and scheduling activities for property access needs
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, Environmental Advisors, Cultural Heritage Officers, Communications Specialists and other industry professionals.
- Working in a construction teams to deliver new infrastructure on privately owned land.
- Managing Powerlink's construction contractors to meet business and landholder commitments and expectations.

**About You**:
The experience and skills of people we're looking for span a broad range of industries and experiences. Qualifications in any of the following areas would support your success in the role; environment, social science, communications, archaeology, surveying or similar.

Your experience in landholder engagement in a previous role is beneficial, but what is most important is the best-practice engagement skillset you bring with you.

Additionally we would be encouraged to hear from you if you have exposure in any of the below industries and areas;
- Tenure and Approvals
- Legal, Planning and Land Valuation
- Survey
- Rural Land, Property or Stock Agent
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Telecommunication and Water Infrastructure (NBN etc.)
- Road, Rail or Transport infrastructure
- Social Sciences
- Social Impact Studies, Social Analysis/Research
- Community and Stakeholders Engagement, Liaison or Coordination,
- Forestry and Agri-business including primary producers
- Community Projects and Civil Council Works
- Industry Liaison
- Environmental consultation services
- LV or HV electrical transmission
