Estimator – Stone Benchtop Manufacturing
We are a high-performance stone benchtop manufacturing company specialising in premium residential and commercial projects.
With a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, fast turnaround times and excellent client service, we're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and support our continued growth.
The Opportunity
As our Estimator, you will play a key role in accurately pricing stone benchtop projects from initial drawings through to final production handover.
You'll work closely with builders, designers, clients, and our internal production team to ensure every quote is thorough, competitive, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings, site measurements, and specifications to prepare accurate quotations
Interpret plans, elevations, and joinery details to determine material requirements, labour, and production time
Estimate costs for engineered stone, natural stone, porcelain, and associated fabrication processes
Maintain and update pricing databases, supplier rates, and internal costing tools
Liaise with builders, cabinet makers, designers, and homeowners regarding project scope and requirements
Prepare and submit timely tender responses and quotes
Work with the production and scheduling teams to ensure job details are accurate and manufacturable
Conduct revisions, variations, and re-costing as needed
Ensure all estimates reflect company standards, margin targets, and operational capabilities
Support continual improvement of estimating systems and workflows
Skills & Experience
Experience as an Estimator in stone benchtops, joinery, cabinetmaking, or construction
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously
Proficiency with estimating software, CAD tools, or ERP systems (or willingness to learn)
Highly Regarded
Experience with stone materials (e.g., Caesarstone, Quartz, Porcelain, Natural Stone)
Knowledge of CNC processes, polishing, mitre work, and fabrication techniques
Understanding of commercial and residential building workflows
Background in manufacturing or production environments
