Casual Catering and Cleaning Assistant
Casual positions available with the opportunity for permanent part time hours
REDHS are seeking a number of new members to join the Corporate Services team in either Catering or Cleaning Assistant roles. Both roles are integral in REDHS' Care Team services to our residents, patients, clients and wider community. Shifts will be either morning or afternoon, with the latest finishing time being 6pm - no evening shifts
Successful applicants will have:
- Catering Assistant role must have a current Food Hygiene Certificate
- Cleaning Assistant will require a reasonable knowledge of cleaning standards and a good working knowledge of safe working practices, including chemical handling and storage
- You must be physically fit to undertake manual handling activities
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and some weekends
You will be required to have or obtain all of the following:
- Current Police Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current Influenza Vaccination

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.
We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.
Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
