In This Role
As an Executive Business Support Officer, you will provide high‐level executive and operational support to the Assistant Under Treasurer and Directors, playing a key role in maintaining organisational efficiency and ensuring critical deadlines and priorities are met.
Responsibilities
* Offering proactive, high‐level confidential advisory and operational support to the Assistant Under Treasurer and other senior staff.
* Managing the Correspondence Workflow System (CWS), ensuring documentation meets high Treasury standards.
* Overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the timely handling of ministerial correspondence, briefs, and reports.
* Scheduling and managing the Assistant Under Treasurer's diary and emails with accuracy and foresight, while assisting Directors when required.
* Scheduling travel arrangements, including itinerary planning, bookings, and accommodation.
* Coordinating facilities and IT‐related activities, including managing staff relocations, access cards, and service desk requests.
* Maintaining important operational registers such as cab‐charge E‐Tickets.
* Supporting department staff on administrative tasks and providing flexible coverage to the Executive Officer when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience supporting executives in a large‐scale organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain professional working relationships.
* Exceptional communication and collaborative skills to engage effectively across diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
