Family Solicitor - Associate This well established Family Law firm are seeking a Solicitor | Associate to join their collaborative and highly skilled team who are committed to providing successful, cost-effective outcomes.
You will have an opportunity to work across all family law matters, running your own files but having the support from senior lawyers and highly skilled legal support staff.
Responsibilities / Experience
* Providing sound verbal & written advice to clients
* Assisting clients with respect to a wide range of family law matters
* Proactively communicating with clients
* Accurately preparing court material in a timely manner and appearing in court where required
* Effectively briefing Counsel
* Appearing in Court
* Appearing at mediations
* Following firm procedures relating to billing, administration and collection of accounts
* Maintaining professional accreditation & records
* Upholding the firms values and working collaboratively with the team
Attributes needed
* 1-5 years post admission experience as a Family Solicitor
* High attention to detail
* Dedication to the team and the role
* Ability to understand and follow various Court protocols and practice note requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Readiness to learn and develop your legal skills from a professional team
