The Opportunity
The Opportunity CSR are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our Adelaide team and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable business growth. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and converting leads into long‐term, value‐driven partnerships. As a key contributor to the commercial success of the business, you will develop and execute targeted business development strategies, deliver against ambitious revenue and margin targets, and work collaboratively across sales, marketing, and product teams to position CSR solutions competitively in the market. This opportunity suits a results‐oriented, consultative sales professional who thrives on building pipelines, closing deals, and creating customer value in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth
* Deliver revenue, margin, volume, and ASP targets
* Generate and convert new leads using consultative selling
* Grow existing customers through expanded product and solution offerings
* Maintain disciplined sales activity and CRM accuracy
* Identify new opportunities through market and competitor analysis
* Collaborate cross‐functionally to deliver integrated customer solutions
* Prepare proposals, negotiate, and close profitable deals
* Own conversions, upsell opportunities, and customer experience outcomes
* Share market insights and manage projects, pricing, and product knowledge
About You
* Qualification in a relevant field with minimum 5 years\' sales experience.
* Proven success in consultative, solutions‐based business development roles.
* Strong customer‐centric mindset with a passion for relationship building.
* Highly results‐driven, resilient, and motivated to exceed sales targets.
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
* Experience using data analytics to inform decisions and optimise commercial outcomes.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‐functional teams.
* Confident interpreting technical product information for customers and contractors.
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
* Proficient in CRM systems and Excel.
* Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
