Our New South Wales Infrastructure team is currently delivering some of the state’s most complex and high-profile civil projects across roads, bridges, water and bulk infrastructure. Current projects include New Dubbo Bridge, Medlow Bath Upgrade, Hill Road Upgrade, Pitt Town Bypass, Refresh Vaucluse and Diamond Bay, and West Dapto Road Upgrade, with individual project values typically ranging from $20M to $200M. About the opportunity With a strong pipeline of work and a clear vision to grow we’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our senior leadership team. This role provides strategic and operational oversight across a portfolio of major projects spanning roads and bridges, bulk water infrastructure and pipeline construction. As the Construction Manager you will; Be accountable for the overall success of a significant portfolio of Infrastructure projects across New South Wales with a strong focus on governance, operational excellence, and commercial performance. Provide leadership across large geographically dispersed project teams, setting clear direction and expectations across multiple projects, clients and delivery environments. Oversee commercial and financial performance across all projects, ensuring risks are proactively managed, obligations are met, and value is maximised. Build and strengthen relationships with key clients and delivery partners to support successful delivery, repeat work and future growth. Ensure appropriate capability, structure and resourcing across projects and functions to meet delivery and growth objectives. Lead a strong and proactive safety culture, with a clear focus on leadership visibility, personal accountability and continual improvement. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in delivery methodologies seeking opportunities to bring an innovative and differentiated value offering to our clients. What you’ll bring to the team We are looking for an established senior leader with proven experience operating at Construction Manager or similar level within the infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will; Have a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams, ideally with experience managing projects >$100m. Be a strong communicator who provides clarity, drives alignment and sets clear expectations. Have proven leadership in driving safety, quality and commercial, embedding accountability and high standards at all levels. Have strong commercial and contractual acumen, with a deep understanding of infrastructure delivery models, ideally with experience with experience navigating NSW Government client environments and delivery frameworks, including TfNSW.
