About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate legal professional to join our team in providing high-quality, trauma-informed advice and support to clients who have experienced family and domestic violence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting effective legal practices, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to meet the complex needs of clients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with courts, agencies, and colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing trauma-informed advice and support to socially disadvantaged clients
* Conducting legal practices within an interdisciplinary team framework
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve client outcomes
* Developing and implementing strategies to address client needs
Essential Requirements
* Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW or eligibility for admission
* A current NSW Practising Certificate
* A willingness to undertake a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
* Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies)
