About the Role

The Local Laws Officer will engage with and respond to customer inquiries and conduct investigations into concerns raised across the variety of responsibilities. Working both individually and as part of a larger team you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to organise and manage self, often working with conflicting priorities.

Skills and Experience

• Value customer service
• Are flexible and adaptive in your approach to problem solving
• Be an excellent communicator and professional in your approach
• Have demonstrated experience in domestic animal management and in interpretation and enforcement of relevant legislation
• Be resilient and have a demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence
• Have knowledge of the role of Local Government
