We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our Reinsurance Finance team.
This role plays a critical part in the month-end close process and reconciliation procedures relating to reinsurance activities across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the team in payment of premiums, broker & reinsurer interactions, timely & accurate calculations of payments for reinsurance.
* Contribute to development of meaningful insights & analysis across reinsurance.
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reinsurance accounting and reporting, managing reinsurance payments and claims recoveries.
* Maintain strong financial controls to support integrity of general reinsurance business operations.
Requirements
* Professional membership - (desired)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting environment
* Technical knowledge in insurance/reinsurance accounting (desired)
* Demonstrates process improvement insights and delivery of improvements
* Having worked for or closely with a complex/large organisation (desired)
