About the Role
As a Planting Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining state-of-the-art automated planting equipment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring precision planting, optimising machinery performance, and supporting overall production targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and oversee advanced planting machinery in field environments
* Monitor system performance and make real-time adjustments
* Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
* Work closely with farm and technical teams to improve efficiency
* Maintain accurate records of operations and performance
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
* Experience operating agricultural or horticultural machinery (highly regarded)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in new technologies
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
* Relevant licences or certifications (desirable, not essential)
