Key Role Overview
The Deputy Director - First Peoples will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with Tasmanian Aboriginal communities, national/international stakeholders, and the TMAG Aboriginal Advisory Council.
They will be responsible for enhancing collections access, knowledge-sharing, and delivering community-led programs and engagement.
This includes leading communications and engagement strategies, embedding First Peoples voices in exhibitions, programs, and visitor experiences, and removing barriers to foster collaboration.
