About The Role
Queensland X-Ray is seeking a full-time
Registered Nurse
to join us as an
Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM)
in our dynamic Nursing Team in the
Gold Coast Region
.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced medical imaging environment where nursing expertise is recognised and continually developed.
The position is
Monday to Friday (7.6-hour shifts)
, with participation in Saturday, weekend, and on-call rotations in line with service requirements.
As an
ANUM
, you will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver safe, patient-centred care across a broad range of imaging and interventional procedures. You will provide day-to-day leadership and clinical guidance, supporting the NUM and stepping into the Nurse in Charge role in their absence.
Candidates with a minimum of
five years' medical imaging experience
, including demonstrated leadership capability, will be strongly considered.
About You
* To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum five years' post-graduate nursing experience in Medical Imaging
* Evidence of completion of a recognised leadership course
* Demonstrated IV cannulation competency (essential)
* Ultrasound-guided IV cannulation experience (desirable)
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, high-volume environment
* Excellent time management and clinical decision-making under pressure
* A team-focused, compassionate approach to patient care
* A genuine interest in medical imaging and a passion for service excellence
