Mathematics Educator
The role of a mathematics educator at an educational institution involves planning, preparing, and delivering programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills, and be able to respond to student learning needs.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
* Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs.
Main Responsibilities
* Teaching groups of students and individual students to advance their understanding and skills.
* Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the institution.
* Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the educational leader.
* Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions to promote a supportive learning environment.
