Community Engagement Professional
We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Professional to foster a vibrant and inclusive environment in our retirement communities.
This role involves designing and delivering innovative engagement programs that promote wellness, inclusion, autonomy, and connection for older adults.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure that all residents feel valued and connected.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing engagement strategies that reflect the diverse interests, backgrounds, and wellness goals of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement engagement programs that promote social connection, inclusivity, and community building.
* Collaborate with internal teams to embed community engagement principles across operations and services.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local schools, businesses, service providers, and community groups.
* Identify and apply for grant funding opportunities to support new and expanded engagement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience in community development, human services, aged care, health promotion, or a related field.
* Proven experience designing and delivering community engagement programs.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong event and program planning skills, including logistics, budgeting, risk assessment, and evaluation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High-level organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
