Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced executive chef to lead our vibrant team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career. You'll have the freedom to create your own menus and team with the full support of SHG and the incredible suppliers.

The Executive Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of one of our bar and restaurants, whilst bringing innovation and enthusiasm to the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

* Menu Development and Execution: Create and maintain a dynamic and innovative menu that reflects the best of the region's cuisines
* Stock Ordering: Manage and order kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
* Cost Management: Oversee wage percentage and cost of goods percentage to maintain financial efficiency.
* Rostering: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Revenue Activity: Contribute to strategies aimed at increasing revenue and managing costs.
* Event Management: Plan and execute menus for functions and events.
* Systems and Standards Implementation: Develop and enforce kitchen systems and standards to maintain consistency and quality.
* Industry Compliance: Ensure all kitchen activities comply with industry regulations and health standards.

Ideal Candidate:

* An experienced chef with a strong career background and a passion for cooking.
* Ready to step up into a leadership position and manage a team.
* Creative, with the ability to design and execute a diverse and appealing menu.
* Strong understanding of cost management, stock ordering, and rostering.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
