We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radio Network Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and support of our Emergencies Services Radio P25 System.
Responsibilities:
* Installation, commissioning and maintenance of radio network infrastructure, including Motorola, RFI, Cisco Routers and Eltek DC controllers.
* Diagnosing cavity filter performance and retuning it as required.
* Conduct regular preventative maintenance on radio network equipment.
* Utilise Anritsu LMR Master and Copper Mountain TR test kits for testing and commissioning.
* Perform commissioning and cutover activities under outage conditions.
* Train team members in a collaborative and flexible environment.
* Review and create Method of Procedures (MOPs) prior to construction as required.
* Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
* Travel frequently to various sites across Victoria.
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience working on radio networks, ideally in Emergencies Services Radio P25 System.
* Strong understanding of Motorola, RFI, Cisco Routers and Eltek DC controller equipment.
* Experience in diagnosing cavity filter performance and retuning.
* Proficiency in using Anritsu LMR Master and Copper Mountain TR test kits.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel frequently.
