Join Seven Network as our new Producer for The Morning Show in Sydney on a 12‐month fixed term contract.
As a Producer for The Morning Show, you will be based in the South Eveleigh office, reporting to the Executive Producer and playing a key role in shaping the future of news and entertainment. You will be responsible for developing and creating high‐standard segments, working with iconic names and passionate professionals to produce engaging news, sports and entertainment content. The fast‐paced, rapidly evolving media industry will allow you to thrive and impact everyday Australians.
Position details: 12‐month fixed term contract, 45‐hour week shift pattern.
Responsibilities
* Pitch, develop and create entertaining and informative segments for The Morning Show and across Seven's Morning Television Department.
* Generate story ideas and identify high‐quality, exclusive guests.
* Respond to the news cycle, including generating same‐day content.
* Ensure all production elements are of a high standard through to broadcast.
Qualifications
* Experienced Producer with a passion for storytelling, exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a keen eye for detail.
* Creativity, resourcefulness, and a collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders.
* Self‐motivation and an innovative approach to execute projects efficiently and effectively, always striving to deliver compelling narratives.
* Demonstrated experience in a producing role within a radio or television newsroom.
* Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
* Ability to respond to breaking news.
