As the Workshop Fitter at Visy's Beverage Can Plant in Yatala, you will play a key role in keeping our production operations running reliably. You'll use your mechanical expertise to support equipment performance, contribute to continuous improvement, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
* Repairing, fabricating and modifying mechanical components for machines and equipment
* Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
* Day to day monitoring of services on site
* Reporting and inventory management
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
* Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruptions and improve efficiency
What you will bring to the team
* Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
* Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
