Auxiliary Firefighter Role
As a crucial member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing fire and rescue services in various settings. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safety of people and property by responding promptly and effectively to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to fire and other emergency incidents
* Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities
* Developing and maintaining competencies through regular training and drills
* Maintaining required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
* Operating specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively
Requirements:
* Eligible to hold a current Blue Card or equivalent
* Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
* Manual C Class driver's licence
* Australian Permanent Resident Status
