Randstad are seeking immediate applications from suitable candidates for the role of Senior Electrical Project Manager within a leading mining and resources organisation. This contract opportunity is available to support ongoing asset upgrades and improve project performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for capital projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
* Manage project stakeholders, including senior internal teams, contractors, and external vendors.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and track progress effectively.
* Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results‐driven work environment.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
* Implement and maintain project management methodologies and best practices.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reporting.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* 10 years of proven experience project‐managing brownfield capital projects within a mining environment.
* Previous experience with HV, LV electrical and control systems.
* Knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning processes.
* Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, statutory and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
* Highly technical and detail‐oriented.
* Energetic with a positive, can‐do attitude.
This position will commence immediately and offers a 12‐month contract based in Adelaide with fortnightly site travel.
