Our team is seeking a skilled Materials Development Specialist.
This role will involve working with a small team to develop high-temperature fibre reinforced composite materials and structures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing new materials and processing techniques to meet performance specifications
* Characterising material structure and properties
* Designing and manufacturing components for test and evaluation programs
* Documenting and communicating methods and results
Key qualifications for this role include:
* A degree in aerospace, mechanical or materials engineering and relevant recent experience
* Technical expertise in composites materials and manufacturing methods (resin transfer moulding, prepreg and resin infusion techniques)
* Understanding of resin systems and chemistry
* Excellent communication skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
