**About the opportunity**
Are you passionate about child safety and looking to make a meaningful impact across the research community and the University? Join our dynamic team at the Office of Child Safety as a Child Safety Research Administration Officer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of child safety across all research projects involving children and young people.
**Key Responsibilities**
- administration Support: Provide administrative and project support for Child Safety initiatives including the Annual Research Attestation program, ensuring timely progression and quality standards.
- Planning: Facilitate thorough planning, analysis, and documentation for Child Safety programs.
- develop and deliver communication: Assist in creating and disseminating child safety communications in line with our action plan.
- data management and reporting: Track, report, and maintain accurate attestation data, and follow up on outstanding submissions.
- oversee report compilation: Oversee report compliation to meet established standards, proactively identify compliance improvements, and collaborate with the team to rectify discrepancies.promote a child safe culture: Advocate for child safety within the university's research community.
- adhere to policies and regulations: Ensure compliance with university policies and applicable regulations.
- perform ad-hoc tasks: Undertake additional tasks as requested by your line manager.
**About you**
- experience in education or research administration: Proven ability to manage diverse groups of stakeholders.
- strong communication skills: Ability to write clear, concise and tailored communications.
- project management expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects.
- data Proficiency: Strong skills in tracking and analysing data using Excel; experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
- commitment to child safety: Active dedication to promoting and supporting child safety initiatives.
- Team player: Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- organisational skills: Highly organised with experience managing large datasets and complex information.
- leadership engagement: Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
