Join to apply for the Program Manager, Mental Health role at Queensland Government.

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Reform focuses on system reform around mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention, mental health service system issues, sector workforce issues, addressing social determinants, supporting First Nations-led social and emotional wellbeing, and supporting implementation of the whole-of-government Shifting minds plan.

You will have expert knowledge of the mental health system and factors which influence service planning, delivery and evaluation. You will use your experience and knowledge to actively contribute to policy development and to support our program of work. You will have experience in analysing policy, research and data, and developing briefs and reports based on this analysis. You will be a skilled negotiator who can work collaboratively with government and non-government sector stakeholders to deliver reform and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

* Actively contribute to policy development and support the program of work.
* Analyze policy, research and data, and develop briefs and reports based on this analysis.
* Negotiate and work collaboratively with government and non-government sector stakeholders to deliver reform and project outcomes.


Eligibility and Requirements

* Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
* Appointments are subject to criminal history checks in accordance with section 52 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
* Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of serious disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
* All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with section 182 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
