About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused professional to join our team. This role provides essential support contributing to the effective operation of legal governance and regulatory functions.
This role will assist with research, document preparation, submissions, contract management, compliance tracking, and coordination of legal and regulatory workflows. You will play a key role in supporting timely advice, maintaining strong record-keeping practices, and ensuring operational efficiency across a diverse range of matters.

In this role you will
* Prepare, proofread, and format documents, contracts, correspondence, and internal advice.
* Maintain filing systems, registers, and precedent libraries in accordance with retention and security requirements.
* Undertake research into legislation, regulations, case law, and industry guidelines, preparing summaries and briefing materials.
* Support compliance and governance activities, including tracking obligations relating to applicable legislation.
* Monitor regulatory developments and assist with updating internal procedures and registers.
* Coordinate statutory filings, regulatory submissions, and responses to investigations or notices.
* Liaise with external providers, auditors, and consultants, and manage document collation for reviews and audits.
* Provide meeting coordination, scheduling, and operational support for the team.
Qualifications: About You
You are someone who brings strong judgement, organisation, and a commitment to high-quality work. You also enjoy supporting a busy and dynamic function, take pride in getting the details right, and are comfortable working with sensitive information.
To be successful you will demonstrate
* A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
* Strong capability in preparing and interpreting standard documents and summarising legislation or advice.
* Experience supporting in-house compliance or governance teams.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and written communication skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
