About the role
ELLE Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD. As a full-time Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role involves being 'on the tools' when required, and therefore a vehicle and tool kit is essential.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising high-end residential projects from start to finish.
* Scheduling projects and monitoring work activities to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
* Identifying and addressing any issues or risks on site, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Liaising with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulation.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Preferably a role with high-end architectural experience.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Relevant construction-related qualifications or certifications.
