Your role as a Rear Loader Driver
As a Rear Loader Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping the Sutherland Shire clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Working on a 9‐day fortnight starting from 4:00am, you'll be part of a reliable and community‐minded team delivering essential waste services across the Shire.
Your work includes safely operating rear loader vehicles, completing daily safety checks, supporting collection activities, and carrying out minor maintenance. Every shift, you help maintain the quality of our streets, parks and public areas — making a real and visible difference in the community's everyday experience.

We're seeking someone dependable, community‐focused and proud to support a service that everyone in the Shire relies on.
To Be Successful, You'll Bring
* A current HR Class driver licence (essential)
* Experience in waste services or a similar driving/operations role
* Physical fitness to manage manual handling and outdoor work
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Basic data entry and mobile device skills
* Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law
* Familiarity with Sutherland Shire streets and suburbs (advantageous)
Benefits and Compensation
Package: $77,926 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
Hours of work: Permanent Full‐time 38 hours per week 9‐day fortnight.
