Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Donald, OR. Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operateCNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision metal components.
* Read and interpretblueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications .
* Select and installtooling, fixtures, and machine attachments based on job requirements.
* Adjust machine settings to maintaintight tolerances and quality standards .
* Performfirst article inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
* Troubleshootmachining issues, tool wear, and offsets to maintain efficiency.
* Work withG-code and M-code programming to optimize machine operations.
* Maintain accurateproduction and quality control records .
* Followsafety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in amanufacturing or heavy equipment environment .
* Strong knowledge ofCNC machine operation, setup, and programming .
* Ability to read and interpretblueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications .
* Experience withFanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls is a plus.
* Proficiency in usingprecision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lift50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Technical degree or certification in CNC Machining, Precision Manufacturing, or related field.
* Experience working withlarge-scale machining and heavy industrial components .
* Knowledge ofCAM software (Mastercam, Esprit, or similar) .
