About This Role
The Cardiology Electrophysiology and Pacing Service are looking for a Fellow for the 2027/28 Fellow year. To allow the appointee to undertake a year of supervised clinical and research activity at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. The position would allow specialist training in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing for one (1) year, with possible extension to two (2) years.
About You
Immersion in EP procedures under supervision of electrophysiologist, beginning with simple catheter placement, and advancing to programmed stimulation and ablation. Active participation in device implantations and follow-up. These are performed in a modern laboratory which has CARTO and NavEx non-fluoroscopic mapping and Cryo-ablation, Radiofrequency and Pulsed Field Ablation facilities. At present we perform a total of over 1000 procedures yearly.
