We're seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting our Head Chef in leading the kitchen operations across multiple outlets and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for every guest.
Your day-to-day impact
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
* Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, health, and safety.
* Support the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering, stock control, and cost management.
* Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to deliver excellence in service and teamwork.
* Collaborate with front‐of‐house and resort management to ensure a seamless dining experience.
* Monitor equipment, manage maintenance, and uphold kitchen cleanliness and compliance standards.
* Contribute to menu innovation and the delivery of exceptional guest satisfaction results.
What You'll Bring To The Team
* Formal Cookery qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
* Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and inspire others.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards.
* A hands‐on approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment.
* Highly effective verbal communication skills.
* Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain it.
