About
the Role
The City is
seeking a dedicated Community Facility Officer to provide a
facility booking service that supports the needs of our community,
ensuring that service delivery is timely and efficient. The role is
responsible for:
* Providing a facility
booking service for community parks and buildings;
* Responding to a wide
range of customer enquiries and requests for
information;
* Administrating facility
access control and floodlight systems which involves allocating
keys/ access cards and inputting into the system;
* Completing routine
financial transactions relating to the facility booking
service, following set procedures; and
* Contributing to the
development of processes and procedures.
The role
involves extensive use of the community facilities booking system,
lighting control system and access control system, and applies set
corporate standards and procedures.
About
You
Possessing
strong technical abilities, you will be at ease learning and
utilising new computer technologies. You will also be customer
focused and thrive working in a busy and change driven
organisation. Our team currently handles a high volume of facility
bookings therefore, you will work well under pressure and have
strong resilience all whilst contributing to a positive team
culture.
Applicants
must be able to demonstrate through their resume and covering that
they meet the following capabilities:
* Qualification in a
relevant discipline such as Business Administration or relevant
experience;
* Significant experience
with using a wide variety of computer software
packages;
* Experience maintaining
customer accounts, including billing;
* Excellent communication
skills with a diverse range of customers;
* Ability
to work to set procedures and support a team environment;
and
* Understanding of the
operations of sporting and community clubs and volunteers is
desirable.
