About Us
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Trade Qualified Printer to join their high-performing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer looking for stable shift work, modern equipment, and a business that values technical skill and quality output.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of printing equipment, ensuring consistent quality, minimal downtime, and adherence to food-grade production standards. Both day and afternoon shift work is currently available. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Operate and maintain printing machinery to meet production, quality and safety standards
* Set up, run and monitor print jobs on cartonboard
* Conduct quality checks and make adjustments to ensure colour, registration and print accuracy
* Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and basic fault finding
* Work collaboratively with production, maintenance and quality teams
* Adhere to site safety procedures, food-grade manufacturing standards and company policies
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of post trade qualification experience in a similar role with either Roland or Heidelberg equipment. To be successful in in this role you will have:
* Exposure to food and beverage packaging environments ideal but not mandatory
* Strong attention to detail and quality
* Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented approach
* Experience with cartonboard, but corrugated cardboard will also be considered
