Job Role
The Chef position is an exceptional opportunity to work in a casual and welcoming environment, providing high-quality food service with efficient operations of the commercial kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
* Food preparation and presentation
* Maintaining adherence to all HSE policies, procedures & safe food handling practices
* Management of stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
* Ensuring a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils
* Creating dishes of high quality that nourish and delight guests
* Fast, effective service provided with a smile
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Previous chef experience and cooking in a similar environment
* Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
* Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
* Ability to prep and organise ahead
* Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
* HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
