About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Host to join our holiday property management team. The Host plays a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay while supporting property owners by maintaining high standards of care and presentation.
As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will represent our brand with professionalism and warmth, helping to create exceptional guest experiences and smooth property operations.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
* Greet guests on arrival and provide a warm, professional welcome.
* Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, including key handovers and guest orientation.
* Respond promptly to guest enquiries, issues, or requests to ensure a positive stay.
* Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Property Care & Operations
* Inspect properties prior to guest arrivals and after departures to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
* Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing inventory to the Property Manager.
* Coordinate with cleaners, contractors, and service providers as required.
* Ensure presentation of the property aligns with brand standards (including staging, amenities, and welcome packs).
Administration
* Record guest details, incident reports, and feedback in the property management system.
* Support booking and scheduling processes when required.
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage unexpected challenges.
* Comfortable using technology and property management software.
* Knowledge of the local area is highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, property management, or customer service preferred.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
