Pembroke School is seeking enthusiastic and committed Health and Physical Education Teacher/s to join our vibrant learning community for Term 2 and Term 4.
Backfilling for leave purposes, this role offers the opportunity to inspire students through dynamic Physical Education programs and meaningful Health education, supporting young people to build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and lifelong wellbeing habits.

About the Role
The Health and Physical Education Teacher/s will deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences across multiple year levels. You will join a collaborative and energetic HPE team that values high-quality teaching, strong relationships, and positive student experiences both in and beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Planning and delivering contemporary HPE programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
* Creating inclusive, active learning environments that promote participation and skill development.
* Supporting student wellbeing, teamwork, and positive health practices.
* Assessing and providing meaningful feedback to support student growth.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality across the HPE program.
* Contributing positively to the broader co-curricular and sporting life of the School.

You are an energetic and student-centred educator who is passionate about promoting physical activity, wellbeing, and positive health outcomes. You bring confidence, organisation, and strong classroom management skills, alongside the ability to foster respectful and motivating learning environments.
You thrive in collaborative teams, communicate effectively with students and colleagues, and take pride in delivering engaging lessons that build both competence and confidence.

* Current Working with Children Check (South Australia)
* Current Plink RRHAN-EC training: Masterclass and Fundamentals (including Protective Practices)
* First Aid and CPR
