1. Prepare and implement health practitioner compliance monitoring plans to manage risks to public health and safety.
2. Gather, verify, analyse, and interpret data to evaluation practitioner compliance, and assess risk to public health and safety, including developing recommendations for further action and drafting health practitioner restrictions to mitigate risk to public health and safety.
3. Prepare high quality correspondence, briefing papers, and reports about monitoring and compliance related matters in a timely manner.
4. Liaise as appropriate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the sharing of information to support the monitoring process and enhance service delivery.
5. Actively engage in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems to support the strategic direction of the monitoring and compliance team and the investigations division.
6. Undertake site visits and meet with health practitioners and/or third parties as required to support the monitoring process, verify practitioner compliance, and assess risk to public health and safety.
