The Structural Mechanical Piping Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, adhering to quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.
Responsibilities
 * Support Project Managers by taking active ownership of the project technical on-site and off-site requirements to ensure compliant project delivery to the required project technical specifications
 * Critically review client project engineering drawings and specifications to develop the required Alfabs project technical deliverables such as shop drawings, installation methodologies and respective Project Quality documentation and deliverables
 * Develop project installation documents in conjunction with Project Managers, Construction Manager and Project supervisors to ensure project construction requirements are clear for the site construction team
 * Develop installation methodologies for inclusive fabrication, yard assembly and modular transport.
 * Work in close conjunction with the client project engineering team, client contract engineering and architectural suppliers to ensure project specification compliance.
 * Deliver and effectively manage subcontract shop drawing development inclusive of model constructability reviews, client RFI development and response management.
 * Review and maintain project risk registers in conjunction with project managers to identify any construction or installation engineering risks that require engineering support to resolve/mitigate.
 * Review and help put together Job Packs
 * Monitor job progress and provide feedback to the production team, including safety observations and promoting a positive safety culture.
About You
 * 2-5 years in a similar role in a similar industry
 * Site based experience in an industrial environment
 * Understanding of the trades and disciplines involved in site operations
 * Excellent project management and organisational skills
 * Proven experience im managing construction projects, particularly in the field of site services
 * Willing to work on a wide range of tasks, including on and off-site work and often irregular hours
 * Ability to interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols.
 * Thorough understanding of design drawings.
 * Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Suite
 * Understanding od industry safety requirements

 * ERP use experience
 * Drivers licence
 * Tertiary qualifications in a related area
