The Project Manager will be involved in the Data Maturity Program as part of the overall digital transformation. The role requires an experienced Project Manager to successfully implement policies and new ways of working. The position demands high-level engagement and relationship management with stakeholders both internal and external to the Agency.
This role involves highly specialised policy and technical work, contributing critical elements to business-as-usual service delivery that influence strategic and operational outcomes for the agency.
Responsibilities :
1. Support the Agency’s role in Data governance, providing advice on development and implementation.
2. Contribute expert advice to the Agency Data Maturity Program, focusing on Data Governance and aligning outcomes.
3. Deliver a program to upskill and educate the workforce in data governance standards, development, and implementation for both generic and specialist roles.
4. Facilitate the establishment of technology to monitor and report on data quality.
Key Skills and Experience Required :
1. Experience with large-scale, complex data-driven transformation programs in the Public Sector.
2. Proven experience managing policy, training, and rollout in a multi-vendor environment, including creating and managing integrated project schedules that align dependencies and deliverables, track progress, and minimize risks.
3. Assist in managing Agency procurement, contracts, and reporting requirements.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience preparing briefs, agendas, papers, and reports.
