Student Support & Assessment Marking Roles
Are you passionate about helping students succeed? We are seeking reliable, detail-focused team members to support our training delivery through assessment marking, student support, or a combination of both, depending on your skills, experience, and availability.
These roles are predominantly administrative and support-based, with a strong focus on communication, organisation, and learner support. They suit people with experience in business, health administration, or practice management who enjoy working in education and making a practical difference.
About Us
We are a long-established Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with over 20 years' experience delivering online courses in business and healthcare administration. Our focus is on practical, job-ready skills and providing strong, realistic support to our students.
The Role
These roles may be offered on a part-time (approx. 20 hours per week) or full-time basis, depending on your experience, availability, and the mix of responsibilities assigned.
Depending on your experience and availability, your role may include some or all of the following:
* Marking and monitoring assessments in our Learning Management System (LMS)
* Responding to student enquiries via email, phone, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams
* Proactively following up on student progress via phone calls and emails
* Clarifying assessment requirements and expectations
* Conducting government-funded enrolment interviews with prospective students
* Supervising online LLN assessments in line with funding and compliance requirements
* Conducting one-on-one online role plays with students, or observing practical assessment demonstrations via Zoom or Teams
* Supporting students to use Clinic to Cloud (training provided)
* Providing administrative support to the RTO Manager
* Assisting with the improvement of learning and assessment resources
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have some or all of the following:
* A qualification in Business, Practice Management, Health Administration, or Community Services (Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma), supported by recent and relevant industry experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to students and stakeholders
* Sound administrative and organisational skills, with good attention to detail
* Experience in student support and/or assessment marking (preferred but not essential)
* Experience using a Learning Management System (desirable but not required)
* A current TAE40122, TAE40116, Assessor Skill Set, Diploma of Education, or a relevant higher education teaching qualification
* The ability to work well in a team while also managing tasks independently
* A friendly, professional, and practical communication style when working with students and colleagues
* A reliable and committed approach to the role
