Mapping Specialist – Affera
Location: Macquarie Park, New South Wales, Australia. Work Arrangement: Flexible. Type: Full‐time.
Overview
Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team is launching the Affera mapping system and seeks an experienced Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist. The role provides clinical and technical support, training, and sales enablement to ensure successful adoption of the Affera system and other CAS products.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
* Educate and train on technical matters related to CAS products and related procedures.
* Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products.
* Support national, regional, and territorial sales objectives and exceed sales goals for CAS products.
* Develop and cultivate customer relationships to drive incremental business.
* Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training.
* Communicate with the sales and clinical teams across the region.
* Represent Medtronic CAS products, service, and support to physicians and support staff.
* Act as a regional champion to share knowledge and influence proficiency in mapping technology.
Required Knowledge and Experience
* High‐school diploma required with a minimum of 6 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation; bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience desirable.
* Interstate travel up to 25% required; valid driver's licence and own transport necessary.
* Demonstrated knowledge of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures.
* Experience operating 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
Physical Job Requirements
The role involves standing, walking, and the use of equipment to support clinicians at multiple locations.
