Associate Director - Private Bank

**About the opportunity**

Due to ongoing success and growth, we are seeking self-motivated and professional private/business bankers to join an already high performing VIC **Ultra High Net Wealth Team** as an **Associate** **Director. **This newly created role is a senior position within the UHNW team and will provide clear specialisation and segmentation and succession into the UHNW market.

**Additionally, you will**:

- Manage a portfolio of UHNW customers and work with them on their current and future financial goals
- Guide customers through key milestones in their home buying, asset acquisition and investment process with seamless communication.
- Work with your networks to introduce new clients into Commonwealth Private to enjoy our whole of wallet opportunities we provide
- Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.
- Share best practice with colleagues through coaching and capability uplift sessions.
- Support customers by taking action on feedback and correct any service breaks to drive improvement.
- Support internal stakeholders with information to assist the end-to-end service of your clients.
- Work in partnership with UHNW director in the management of UHNW clients with a focus on patch growth while managing a portfolio of their own.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Have proven complex consumer & commercial lending experience, knowledge of ultra-high net worth client needs and ideally a network of clients and referrers.
- Recent experience in a similar role from within Private Banking, Business/Commercial Banking or similar.
- Experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures and the ability to interpret complex financials.
- A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with ultra-high net worth clients.
- This role will focus on networks outside of third party
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or related field (preferred).
- RG146 (preferred)
