Senior Professional Services Account Executive, Public Sector, ANZ
AWS Professional Services help Public Sector clients achieve their digital transformation goals on the AWS Cloud through consulting services.
Description
In this role, you will lead strategic business development and own the AWS Professional Services sales motion end to end. You'll join a diverse team of technical experts supporting the Public Sector in Australia and New Zealand, helping customers achieve more with the AWS Cloud.
As the ProServe customer‐facing relationship owner, you'll focus on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, creating proposals, and securing customer sign‐off for Statements of Work (SoW). Following project launch, you will stay connected with the customer to ensure we are delivering the agreed customer business outcomes (CBO).
Key job responsibilities
* Qualify and develop new opportunities for AWS Professional Services within new and existing territories.
* Develop and execute account plans, working closely with AWS Sales.
* Own the sales motion end to end, including prospecting, qualification, and closure.
* Lead sales to delivery for AWS Professional Services consultants.
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers.
* Support complex RFx responses and direct bids.
* Manage strategic pursuits and orchestrate internal teams to accelerate deal closure.
Basic Qualifications
* 10+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
* 5+ years of cloud‐based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
* 10+ years of external or internal customer‐facing, complex and large‐scale project management experience.
* 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
* Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance (NV1 or above).
Preferred Qualifications
* Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
* AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
