Catering Coordinator - Cook – Aged Care

About the Role
We are seeking to fill a permanent part‐time position with a dedicated Chef to deliver high‐quality, nutritious meals tailored to the unique dietary needs of our aged care residents. This role is ideal for someone empathetic, adaptable, and committed to excellence in food service.
What You'll Be Doing
* Prepare and cook daily meals that meet individual dietary requirements, including texture‐modified options.
* Plan and rotate menus in consultation with the Service Manager and residents.
* Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in line with regulatory requirements.
* Manage food purchasing, storage, and usage within budget guidelines.
* Foster a safe and respectful kitchen environment, adhering to Safe Work Practices.
Who We're Looking For
* A qualified Chef with a Certificate III in Hospitality, Commercial Cookery, or equivalent.
* Experience in aged care or healthcare settings highly regarded.
* Familiarity with cook‐fresh and cook‐chill methodologies.
* Strong understanding of dietary controls and texture‐modified food preparation.
