My Car Rentals is a long-established vehicle rental and rent-to-own business based in Melbourne. We manage a fleet of over 150 vehicles and operate a growing rent-to-own program supporting customers to progressively own their vehicles through structured weekly payments.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of our vehicle fleet operations, including procurement, maintenance coordination, customer allocation and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of a 150+ vehicle fleet
* Coordinate vehicle bookings, allocation, delivery, and collection
* Oversee vehicle procurement, including research and purchase recommendations
* Monitor fleet performance, utilisation, and customer demand trends
* Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and liaise with service providers
* Ensure compliance with registration, insurance, and roadworthiness requirements
* Handle customer onboarding, contract management, and ongoing support
* Process invoices, payments, and maintain financial and fleet records
* Manage traffic infringements and fleet-related compliance matters
* Support strategic planning for fleet growth and optimisation
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or automotive rental industry desirable but not necessary
* Strong organisational and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple operational tasks and priorities
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Experience in vehicle scheduling, procurement, or asset management preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (fleet tracking systems)
* Excellent attention to detail and time management
