Job Title: Site Quality Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with regional council requirements, Australian Standards, project specifications, and INTEC's IMS on our BESS project in Australia.

Your Duties:
* Ensure all construction and installation activities comply with regional council requirements, Australian Standards (AS), project specifications, and project-specific QMP, enforcing INTEC's Integrated Management System
* Manage, oversee, and conduct inspections and tests, including but not limited to on-site material inspections, earthworks and civil testing, planning and executing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), conducting commissioning activities, and coordinating third-party validations.
* Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventive actions, track closeouts, and communicate lessons learned to drive continual improvements. Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
* Coordinate and collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, facilitating quality meetings to ensure adherence to project requirements and best practices.
* Conduct internal project-wide Quality audits, address findings, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance future project performance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
* At least 2 years of experience in QA or QC within construction, renewable energy, or related sectors
* Strong understanding of Queensland Regional HSEQ requirements, as well as industry standards and regulations related to environmental, health, and safety in the construction sector.
* Experience with quality inspections, material testing, NC reporting, RCA investigations, and familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Procore, HammerTech, or similar tools.
* Proven ability to conduct audits (project and management system), manage non-conformance closeouts, and implement corrective actions to drive quality excellence.
