The Allied Health Service Division at Townsville University Hospital are seeking an experienced and client focused Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team.
This is a permanent full-time role.
• While not mandatory, ideally seeking applicants with a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
About the opportunity
The Physiotherapy Assistant contributes to patient care by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of a Physiotherapist within a 7-day service.

* Salary range: $ $ p.f. (CA3)
* 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
* Locality allowance

Requirements:
* While not mandatory, a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance would be well regarded.
* This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
