About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Optometrist (2+ years experience) who is passionate about:
* Ocular health and disease management
* Diabetic eye care and chronic condition monitoring
* Delivering comprehensive eye examinations
* Building strong patient relationships
* Contributing to practice growth and performance
Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive eye tests and vision assessments
* Diagnose and manage ocular disease (including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration)
* Prescribe glasses and contact lenses
* Utilise OCT, retinal imaging, and visual field testing
* Support early detection and referral pathways
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Contribute to sales performance and patient conversion
About You
* Qualified Optometrist (AHPRA registered) and Therapeutically Endorsed
* Minimum 2 years clinical experience
* Strong interest in ocular pathology and diabetes management
* Confident in contact lens fitting and prescribing
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Commercially aware with an interest in retail optometry performance
* Immediate start available
